"Amidst the drizzle and dull weather of Towcester, Northamptonshire, England, on the historic grounds of Silverstone, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their 2024 season with the much-anticipated Pomeroy Trophy event. The first of four auto-tests and forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit attracted an array of iconic and historic vehicles, from pre-war classics to post-war sports cars. In this thrilling photo, Russell Shean pilots his MG B through a turn during the Pomeroy Trophy competition. The MG B, a British classic first introduced in 1952, showcases the essence of motorsport's rich history.
