Amidst the drizzle and dull weather at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire, England, the Vintage Sports Car Club (VSCC) kicked off their season with the prestigious Pomeroy Trophy event on the 17th of February, 2024. This historic motorsport competition showcased an array of iconic cars from various eras and types, including the elegant MG B driven by Sian Slater. The Pomeroy Trophy is a unique event, consisting of four auto-tests followed by forty minutes of racing on the full Grand Prix circuit. Four coveted trophies were up for grabs: the Pomeroy Trophy, Densham Trophy, Pomeroy Edwardian Trophy, and the Gordon Spice Cup. Sian Slater skillfully navigated her MG B through the challenging auto-tests, demonstrating her exceptional driving abilities.
