In this evocative photograph, two beloved figures from Bristol City Football Club's past, Scott Golbourne and Ryan Harley, line up together during a pre-season friendly match against Exeter City in the 2010-11 season. Scott Golbourne, a stalwart defender for the Robins, joined the club in 2009 from Crewe Alexandra. Over the next two seasons, he established himself as a regular in the first team, making 58 appearances and scoring three goals. His tenacity and determination on the pitch endeared him to fans, and his departure to Wolves in 2011 was met with sadness. Ryan Harley, a creative midfielder, came through the ranks at St James Park and made his professional debut for Exeter City in 2005. He spent five years with the Grecians before making the move to Ashton Gate in the summer of 2010. Harley's time at Bristol City was marked by his ability to create chances and score goals from midfield. He made 34 appearances and scored five goals during the 2010-11 season.
