John Wood is an artist and arts educator who has been working in the field of visual arts for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His artwork focuses on abstract painting, sculpture, and installation art. He has exhibited his work at galleries around the world including The Museum of Modern Art in New York City, The National Gallery in Washington D.C., and The Tate Modern in London. In addition to creating artwork, it is an educator who teaches classes on painting, drawing, sculpture, installation art and other forms of visual expression at various universities across the United States. He also serves as a mentor to young artists through his program which provides guidance to aspiring artists looking to develop their skillset and make connections within the art world.
