Ben Wittick is a contemporary artist and curator based in Los Angeles, California. He has been creating art for over 20 years, working with a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography and installation. His work often explores themes of identity, memory and the human condition. He has shown his work in numerous galleries around the world including New York City's MoMA PS1 and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. Wittick also serves as an independent curator for various institutions such as The Hammer Museum in Los Angeles and The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. His curatorial practice focuses on creating meaningful dialogues between artists from diverse backgrounds to explore topics related to identity politics, social justice and cultural exchange. Through his artwork and curatorial practice Ben Wittick strives to create meaningful connections between people from all walks of life through art making.
