Toshusai Sharaku Collection

Toshusai Sharaku was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist who was active during the late 18th century. He is best known for his woodblock prints of kabuki actors, which are characterized by their dramatic and exaggerated facial expressions. His works are highly sought after by collectors and museums around the world. Little is known about his life, but it is believed that he was born in 1794 and died in 1806.
