Alexander Runciman Collection

Alexander Runciman is a contemporary artist and curator based in London. He has exhibited his work internationally, including at the Saatchi Gallery, the Royal Academy of Arts and the Victoria & Albert Museum. His practice focuses on exploring themes of identity, memory and place through painting, drawing and sculpture. He often uses found objects to create installations that explore our relationship with our environment. His work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, The Independent and Art Monthly. Alexander is also an active curator who organises exhibitions for which he founded in 2019 to promote emerging talent from around the world. Through his art practice and curatorial projects he seeks to challenge existing notions of what it means to be an artist today.
