Charles Martin is an artist, curator and educator based in Los Angeles. He has been creating art for over 20 years, exploring a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture and installation. His work has been exhibited in galleries around the world and is held in private collections. He is also a passionate advocate for the arts, having curated exhibitions at various institutions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles and the Hammer Museum. In addition to his artistic practice, Charles teaches at several universities and colleges throughout California. His teaching focuses on contemporary art practices, critical theory and curatorial studies. Through his artwork, curation and teaching he seeks to foster meaningful conversations about culture through creative expression.
