Charles Louis Lucien Muller Collection

Charles Louis Lucien Muller is a French artist and sculptor. He was born in Paris in 1851 and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. His works are mainly sculptures of animals and figures, often with a humorous twist. He exhibited his work widely throughout Europe, including at the Salon des Artistes Francais in Paris from 1884 to 1914. He also had several solo exhibitions in France during this period. In addition to his sculptures, he also created etchings and lithographs of animals and landscapes that were widely admired by critics. His work has been collected by museums around the world including the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
