Kolo Moser Collection

Kolo Moser (1868-1918) was an Austrian artist and designer who had a major influence on the Vienna Secession movement. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Vienna, where he became friends with Gustav Klimt and Josef Hoffmann. His early works were influenced by Art Nouveau, but he later developed his own unique style that combined traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements. He was a master of many mediums, including painting, graphics, furniture design and interior decoration. His most famous works include the Wiener Werkstätte furniture designs and the Palais Stoclet in Brussels.
