James Moore Collection

James Moore is a multi-disciplinary artist and curator based in New York City. He has been creating art for over 20 years, and his work has been featured in galleries, museums, and public spaces around the world. His artwork is often inspired by his experience as a Black man living in the United States. He works with a variety of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, video installation, performance art and more. He also curates exhibitions that explore themes such as identity politics and social justice. Through his work he hopes to create meaningful dialogue about issues of race and representation within contemporary society. In addition to his artistic practice Moore is also an educator who teaches classes on topics related to visual culture at various institutions across the country.
