Eugene-Louis Lami Collection

Eugene-Louis Lami was a French painter and lithographer who was born in 1821. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and became a professor of drawing at the same school. He is best known for his lithographs, which he produced for many books, including Les Merveilles de la Nature et de l'Art (1845). His works were also exhibited in the Paris Salons from 1841 to 1867.
