Paul Iribe Collection

Paul Iribe (1883-1935) was a French illustrator, designer, and playwright. He is best known for his Art Deco style of illustration and design. He was born in Pau, France, and studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. His illustrations were featured in many magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and L'Illustration. He also designed costumes for the Folies Bergère cabaret show in Paris. In addition to his artistic work he wrote several plays including "Le Roi de la Chine" (The King of China).
