Vladimir Ivanovich Hau Collection

Vladimir Ivanovich Hau was a Russian artist, born in 1882 in Moscow. He studied at the Stroganov Art School and later at the Imperial Academy of Arts. His works were mainly focused on landscape painting, but he also worked with portraits and still lifes. He was a member of the Union of Russian Artists and exhibited his works in many exhibitions throughout Russia. His style was influenced by Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Symbolism and Expressionism. He had an individual approach to painting which combined elements from different movements into one unique style. He died in 1945 leaving behind a legacy of beautiful artworks that still inspire many people today.
