What are Louis Haghe (Artists Arts) art prints?

Louis Haghe was a Belgian artist who lived from 1806 to 1885. He is best known for his work as an illustrator and lithographer, particularly in the field of travel literature. His art prints are reproductions of his original lithographs, which were created using a technique that involved drawing directly onto limestone plates with greasy crayons or ink. The plates were then treated with chemicals to create areas that would attract ink and repel water, allowing the image to be transferred onto paper. Haghe's art prints depict scenes from around the world, including Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. They often feature landscapes, architecture and people going about their daily lives. His attention to detail and use of vibrant colours make his prints highly sought after by collectors today. We offer a wide range of Louis Haghe art prints in various sizes and formats, making it easy for customers to find the perfect piece for their home or office décor.
