Franceschini's works were heavily influenced by Caravaggio and his style is characterized by its dramatic lighting and intense emotionality. His most famous works include "The Martyrdom of St. Lawrence" (1640), "The Death of Cleopatra" (1650), and "The Adoration of the Magi" (1660).
