Eugene Hippolyte Forest Collection

Eugene Hippolyte Forest was a French painter of the 19th century. He is best known for his landscapes, which often featured rural scenes with figures in the foreground. He was born in 1845 in Paris and studied at the École des Beaux-Arts under Jean-Léon Gérôme and Alexandre Cabanel. His works were exhibited at the Salon de Paris from 1868 to 1889, where he won several awards.
