Henry Perronet Briggs (1795-1844) was an English painter and engraver. He was born in London and studied at the Royal Academy of Arts, where he won a silver medal for his painting "The Death of Abel". He became a member of the Society of Painters in Water Colours in 1825, and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1820 until his death. His works were mainly landscapes and genre scenes, often featuring animals or rural life. He also produced some portraits, including one of Queen Victoria.
