Mariotto Albertinelli Collection

He was a pupil of Cosimo Rosselli, and later became a follower of Andrea del Sarto. His style was influenced by both artists, as well as by Fra Bartolommeo, who he collaborated with on several projects. Albertinelli's most famous works include frescoes in the church of San Salvi and the Coronation of the Virgin altarpiece for Santa Maria Novella. He also painted several portraits, including one of Pope Leo X with two Cardinals.
