Morio Collection

Morio is a species of Rhinolophidae, a family of bats found in Europe, Asia and Africa, and are small to medium-sized bats with long ears and large noses. The fur on their backs is usually grey or brown, while the underside is lighter in color. They feed mainly on insects, but will also eat fruit and nectar from flowers. Morio roosts in caves or buildings during the day and can be seen flying around at night looking for food, and are important pollinators for many plants and help to keep insect populations under control. In some areas they are considered pests due to their tendency to enter homes looking for food or shelter.
