Cinerea Collection

Cinerea, also known as the white-bellied bat, is a species of Phyllostomidae mammal found in Central and South America, and are small bats with a body length of up to 4 inches and a wingspan of up to 8 inches. They have grayish-brown fur on their backs and white fur on their bellies. They feed mainly on insects such as moths, beetles, and flies. Cinerea roost in caves or trees during the day and hunt for food at night using echolocation. Their diet consists mostly of fruits but they will also eat nectar from flowers, and are solitary animals that form small colonies during mating season when males compete for females by producing loud calls to attract them. Cinerea play an important role in maintaining healthy ecosystems by controlling insect populations and pollinating plants through their feeding habits.
