Wilsoni Collection

Wilsoni are a species of molossidae mammals, which are a family of small to medium-sized terrestrial mammals. They have short legs and long bodies, with large ears and eyes, and are found mainly in Africa, but can also be found in parts of Asia and the Middle East. Wilsoni feed mainly on insects, but will also eat fruits and other plant matter. They live in burrows or tree hollows during the day and emerge at night to hunt for food. Their fur is usually grayish-brown or reddish-brown in color, with white patches on their faces and backs. They have strong hind legs that allow them to jump up to two meters high when threatened by predators such as lions or hyenas and can an important part of their ecosystems since they help control insect populations that could otherwise become pests for humans or livestock.
