Parryi Collection

Parryi is a genus of macropodidae mammals, commonly known as wallabies, and are native to Australia and Tasmania, and are closely related to kangaroos. They have a stocky body with short limbs and long hind legs for hopping. Their fur is usually grey or brown in color, with lighter underparts. Parryi wallabies have a wide variety of diets including grasses, shrubs, leaves and bark. They live in small groups or alone in open woodlands, grasslands and rocky areas. Wallabies are shy animals that will flee when disturbed by humans or predators such as dingoes or foxes. Wallabies can be seen during the day but they mostly feed at night when it is cooler outside. Parryi wallabies play an important role in the Australian ecosystem by helping to disperse seeds through their droppings which helps promote plant growth and regeneration of vegetation cover across their range.
