Lynx Collection

The Lynx is a wildcat species found throughout the Northern Hemisphere, and is the largest of all wildcats, with males weighing up to 30 pounds and females up to 20 pounds. They have long legs, short tails, and tufted ears that give them their characteristic appearance, and are solitary animals that hunt mainly at night for small mammals such as hares and rodents and can also known for their vocalizations which include hissing, growling, and purring sounds. They inhabit forests across Europe, Asia, North America and Canada where they live in dense vegetation or rocky areas near water sources such as rivers or lakes. As a result of habitat loss due to human activity they are now considered an endangered species in some parts of the world. Conservation efforts have been put in place to help protect this unique species from further decline.
