Eurasian Lynx Collection

The Eurasian Lynx is a wild cat species native to Europe and Asia and has a thick fur coat, tufted ears, and long whiskers. Its body length ranges from 80 to 130 cm, with a tail length of up to 20 cm. The lynx's coat is usually grayish-brown in color with black spots on the back and sides of its body. Its diet consists mainly of small mammals such as hares, rabbits, rodents, and birds. In some areas it also feeds on larger prey such as deer or wild boar. The lynx is an elusive animal that prefers dense forests for cover while hunting during the day or night depending on the season and can be found in parts of Russia, Central Asia, China and Mongolia where it is listed as endangered due to habitat loss and poaching for its fur. Conservation efforts are underway to protect this majestic species from further decline in numbers.
