Formosa Collection

Formosa are small marsupials native to South America. They have a wide range of habitats, from tropical rainforests to dry savannas and even urban areas and can omnivorous, feeding on a variety of fruits, insects, small vertebrates and carrion. They have short fur that can be grayish-brown or reddish-brown in color with white markings on the face and legs. They have long tails which help them balance when they climb trees or jump from branch to branch. They also use their long tails for communication by twitching them when threatened or excited and can solitary animals but will form pairs during the breeding season in order to raise their young together until they reach independence at around 8 months old.
