Mule deer (Cervidae) are a species of mammal in the family Cervidae, and are found throughout North America, from Canada to Mexico and can medium-sized animals, typically weighing between 90 and 300 pounds. They have large ears, long legs, and a white rump patch that is used for communication with other mule deer.
