Olivaceus Collection

Olivaceus is a genus of mammals in the family Cebidae, and are native to Central and South America and are found in tropical forests, woodlands, and savannas. They have a long body with short legs and a prehensile tail that helps them climb trees. They have large eyes, small ears, and a pointed snout. Their fur is usually olive-brown in color with lighter patches on their underside. They feed mainly on fruits, leaves, insects, lizards, birds eggs and small vertebrates. Olivaceus live in groups of up to 20 individuals which they use for protection from predators such as snakes or cats. The females give birth to one or two young after a gestation period of about five months.
