Goral Collection

Goral are a species of antelope found in the Himalayan region of Asia, and are small and stocky animals, with a body length ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 meters and weighing up to 50 kilograms. They have grayish-brown fur with white patches on their faces, legs, and bellies, as well as short horns on their heads. Goral inhabit steep rocky terrain where they feed on grasses, shrubs, leaves and fruits. They live in small herds of up to 15 individuals led by an alpha male who defends his herd against predators such as wolves or tigers and can also known for their agility; they can leap over obstacles up to 2 meters high. Despite being hunted for their meat and horns by local people, goral populations remain relatively stable due to conservation efforts in some areas of the Himalayas.
