Bongo Collection

Bongo is a species of antelope belonging to the Bovidae family, and are found in tropical and subtropical forests of Central and West Africa, and are large animals, with males reaching up to 1.5 meters tall at the shoulder and weighing up to 250 kg. They have reddish-brown fur, white stripes on their sides, long horns that curve backwards, and white markings on their faces, and are herbivores that feed mainly on grasses, fruits, leaves, buds and bark from trees. They live in small herds which move around looking for food sources throughout the day and night, and are shy animals but they can be seen during the early morning or late afternoon when they come out to graze in open areas near water sources or along trails used by humans for transportation or hunting purposes.
