Its fur is black or dark brown in color, and its face has a white or yellowish-white beard. The Black Howler Monkey lives in groups of up to 15 individuals, and their diet consists mainly of leaves, fruits, flowers, buds and insects, and are arboreal animals that spend most of their time high up in the trees.
