Moonfish Collection

Moonfish, also known as opah, are large, colorful fish that inhabit the open ocean. They have a large disc-shaped body with a deep red color on top and silvery white on the bottom. Their fins are long and pointed, giving them an impressive swimming ability. Moonfish feed mainly on squid and small fish but will also eat crustaceans and other invertebrates and can grow up to six feet in length and weigh up to 200 pounds and can found in tropical waters around the world but prefer warmer temperatures near the equator and can be found at depths of up to 2,000 feet below sea level where they use their large eyes to hunt for prey during the day or night and can an important part of many oceanic ecosystems as they provide food for larger predators such as sharks and whales while also helping keep populations of smaller prey species in check by eating them before they can reproduce too much.
