Langoustine Collection

Langoustine, also known as Norway lobster, are small crustaceans that live in the cold waters of the North Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. They have a reddish-brown color and long antennae. Langoustines have a firm texture and sweet flavor when cooked, and are often served with garlic butter or in bisques, soups, and salads and can be boiled, steamed, grilled or fried for a variety of dishes. The tail meat is considered to be the most desirable part of the langoustine because it is sweetest and most tender when cooked properly. The claws can also be eaten but they are usually tougher than the tail meat so they require longer cooking times to make them tender enough to eat, and are an excellent source of protein, vitamins A & E as well as minerals such as calcium and iron making them a healthy choice for any meal.
