Violet Turaco Collection

Violet Turaco is a species of bird native to Africa, and are found in the tropical and subtropical regions of the continent, from Senegal to Ethiopia, medium-sized bird with a long tail and wingspan of up to 30 inches and has bright purple feathers on its head, neck, back and wings, with black feathers on its belly. Its beak is yellowish-orange in color and it has red eyes. The Violet Turaco feeds mainly on fruits such as figs, berries, nuts and seeds but will also eat insects when available.
