Search and rescue swimmers being hoisted into a helicopter

Atlantic Ocean, September 4, 2010 - Search and rescue (SAR) swimmers perform direct deployment qualifications operating from the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise. Direct deployment qualifications are required annually to ensure SAR swimmers remain proficient. Enterprise is conducting work-ups and flight deck operations in preparation for an upcoming deployment
