The boy in he wheel-chair is eleven year old, Stephen Thoms and he is a pupil a the Coney Hill School for physically handicapped children, West Wickham, Kent. He is seen batting in the school cricket team - his job as goalkeeper in the soccer team having just ended!
All the children at the school suffer some disability and they all play football and cricket agains other schools.
