The crew of Soviet spacecraft Soyuz 37 before launch on 23 July 1980. On the left is Soviet cosmonaut Vikto Gorbatko and on the right is Pham Tuan, the first Vietnamese to fly in space. Soyuz 37 docked with the Salyut 6 space station, and its two crew members returned to Earth on 30 July 1980 on board the Soyuz 36 spacecraft, which was already docked with Salyut 6
